Billions of rupees being spent on development, welfare projects: Shahbaz sharif

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says billions of rupees are being spent on development and welfare projects.

Talking to a delegation of elected representatives of PML-N in Lahore on Sunday, he said the government has taken revolutionary measures for improvement in education, health, agriculture and other social sectors.

He said transparency, high quality and timely completion of uplift projects is hallmark of Punjab government.

Meanwhile, in a statement issued in Lahore on Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the political opponents of the PML (N) are in panic over the rapid development of the country.

He said elements that have been hampering the development of the people don’t deserve to rule the country.

He said that the grown-up folks of Pakistan will kick out these elements in the next general elections.

The chief minister said that the PML (N) led government has transformed the graveyard of corruption of the former rulers into the beacon-house of progress.
