KARACHI: This year’s Eidul Azha saw a variety of ensembles. While some went all out, others kept it quite simple. Celebrities from around the world shared pictures of their celebrations with their loved ones, showing off their gorgeous attires. From Ahsan Khan to Gigi Hadid, here are five of my favourite outfits that celebrities sported this Eidul Azha.
1. Saboor Aly
Saboor Aly opted for a lavender Faiza Saqlain number. The pastel colour was perfect for the weather and the sheen fabric was definitely a hit. The kameez had bunched embroidery all over while the culottes were left plain – simple yet elegant. The actor wore a bright pink net dupatta, which matched but, in my opinion, dragged the outfit down. Aly rounded off her look with barely there makeup, silver jhumkas and matching khussas.
2. Ahsan Khan
Udaari star Ahsan Khan rocked a traditional attire with a modern twist. Khan chose a plain white kurta pajama which he teamed with a denim waist coat. Looking oh-so-dapper, the actor accessorised with squared black sunnies and a silver watch.
3. Zaira Wasim
Bollywood star Zaira Wasim looked ever so graceful donning this traditional pishwas style ensemble. The Secret Superstar actor was clad in a navy blue garb, full of teal and pink floral embroidery. Her hair was left straight and makeup kept to a minimum. She chose to wear no jewellery, letting the dress speak for itself.
4. Gigi Hadid
Supermodel Gigi Hadid celebrated Eid with her boyfriend Zayn Malik and his family once again. Hadid was garbed in a bright orange asymmetrical piece, which she paired with fringed white cigarette pants. The top saw geometrical designs with a truck embroidered on the side.
While the peplum style shirt, glaring colour and mixture of patterns may be a lot to appreciate for some, I simply love it. The model left her hair down and wore the smallest amount of makeup, with no jewellery.
5. Zayn Malik
How can I possibly ignore Malik when he’s stood right there looking like that? The Pillowtalk singer looked quite debonair clothed in a white silken kameez which he contrasted with maroon trousers. The stark white trainers complemented his outfit pretty well, as did his choice of jewellery.
