Malaysia-Pakistan Business Council’s revival, welcomes Pakistan’s High Commissioner, Mr. Zakaria

Malaysia-Pakistan, Business, Council’s, revival, welcomes, Pakistan's, High, Commissioner, Mr. ZakariaIslamabad; Malaysia-Pakistan Business Council (MALPAK), which was established in 2010 with the initiative of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and National Chamber of commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM) to help in the effective implementation of FTA called Malaysia-Pakistan Closer Economic Partnership Agreement (MPCEPA) in 2007, was revived last month.

The Business Council’s office bearers held meeting with High Commissioner, Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, who shared his vision to chalk out the strategy for enhancing bilateral, economic and trade relations.

The Council members formally welcomed the High Commissioner on 27 January 2018 and hosted a Dinner in which important Malaysian, Pakistani origin Malaysians and Pakistani, mainly belonging to business sector, attended with their families.

He identified the areas that could be exploited to make the FTA more effective. He highlighted the ongoing investment cooperation between the two countries, which was growing significantly.
