Stéphanie Narmada Madavane is a French girl with an Indian background. Her parents are both from South of India, TamilNadu. Narmada was born and bred in the suburbs of Paris. At the age of 19, she left Paris to study Finance in Cambridge. Narmada, first modelled at the age of 17 since it has remained her secret dream but her parents were against the idea of her becoming model. Once Narmada arrived in the UK, she tried her luck in a European modelling casting to participate to Naomi Campbell TV show. Narmada succeeded to be in the last 24 but then she got eliminated in the first episode. After this failure she put her modelling career dream aside and came back to Paris with her master degree but Narmada got the title of Miss India France 2016 on February 6th. She then declared that day: “don’t dream your life, live your dream.”
Since her election as Miss India France 2016, Narmada is very demanded by Asian brands but also by other countries. She recently did the opening of the Haute Couture Fashion Show of Moroccan Caftan. She walked for 9 prestigious designers who “fight” to get Narmada walking for their collection.
Now, Narmada wish to focus on her modelling and acting career nevertheless she remains serious about her mission as Miss India France to represent the value of her mixed cultures, that she qualifies as a “strength” but a “ weakness” at the same time.
Rumours says that Narmada will appear in next huge movie project of Luc Besson ( producer of 5th element) in “Valerian and the city of thousand planets” with Rihanna and Cara Delavingne.
