Six Kashmiris targeted by Indian occupation forces in Shopian IOK

Sri Nagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Indian occupation forces opened fire on a car near a military camp in Pahnoo area of the Shopian district, resulting in the death of six Kashmiris including 24-year old Gowhar Ahmad Lone (M.P.Ed student studying at Nagpur University in Mahashtra India ) , Amir Ahmed Malik ,Suhail Ahmad Wagay (22) ,Mohammad Shahid Khan (21), Shahnawaz Wagay (23) and Shahid Ahmad
The killings led to massive clashes between protesters and the occupational forces in Shopian, Pulwama and other areas.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown is being observed across the Kashmir Valley, today, against the innocent killings. Call for the strike was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. The authorities have imposed strict restrictions in Srinagar, Islamabad, Shopian, Puwlama and Kulgam districts and suspended internet mobile services in south Kashmir to prevent protests.

Territory’s Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the examination for four papers which were scheduled to be held on Monday.

On the other hand, Indian police launched major search operations at two separate places in the Rajouri district. The forces conducted searches in Chawa, Mochi Mohalla, Crusher Morh, Tandwal, Thandikassi, Iran Khanetar, Gambhir and Kakora areas

March 5, 2018 Srinagar: Indian occupation forces opened fire disperse thousands of mourners in Harman area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday. Amir Ahmed Malik along with other six youtn Kashmiri youth were targeted by Indian occupation forces and fired on a car near in Pahnoo in Shopian late Sunday evening.
Thousands of people attended Amir’s funeral prayers at his ancestral village before he was laid to rest.Amirwas doing his masters in History at Kashmir University .
People staged protests in various parts of Islamabad, Kulgam and Bandipore districts on Monday in wake of killings .
